About
Nocturne is a cinematic exploration of space and time, using light as both a sculptural and narrative device. Set against vast, elemental landscapes, the project investigates the way light interacts with terrain—marking divisions, tracing histories, and defining the imperceptible passage of time.

By employing a combination of natural and artificial lighting techniques, Nocturne creates shifting environments that transform in response to illumination, revealing hidden textures, ephemeral moments, and transient geometries. The interplay between darkness and light serves as both a visual language and a conceptual framework, echoing themes of memory, transience, and the cyclical nature of existence. Drawing from architectural lighting, photography, and land art, the project reframes landscapes as living, evolving spaces—where shadows stretch, light fractures, and atmospheres shift with the movement of the sun, the presence of artificial interventions, or the rhythms of celestial cycles.
